With a government grant to assist with your down payment, it's possible that you can own a home with no money down, and you may even have some money left over to reduce your principle loan balance.

On average our first time home buyers receive grants between $10,000 – $15,000 when they work with our Certified Local Specialist.

A First Time Home Buyer is any buyer who has not owned a home in the last 3 years. Even if you have owned a home in the past, you can still qualify for a house with these government programs.

In addition to the grant money that you receive, you will also save money on the interest that you would have paid on the grant amount. For example, if you receive a grant for $10,000, you save $10,000 up front, but then you save money on the interest on that $10,000 over the course of 30 years.

Some grants have maximum income requirements, while others do not.

Occassionally there are restrictions on property types and some grant programs target specific zones in an area.
